Beach Town Classics was born in 1999, an homage to the golden age of surfing and the iconic product evolution that defined the era. Our founder's journey began as a grom in Dana Point, California, fully immersed in the local surf and skate scene, learning the ropes of screen printing and building skateboards.

Landing in Newport Beach in his 20s, he worked alongside surf magazines, manufacturers, and brand builders. This deep industry knowledge sparked an idea in 1999: create a unique surf-designed auto emblem to fund his surf trips and travels. This simple idea launched the business we know today.

When Amazon entered the surf and outdoor category it changed how shops bought products. The small brands suffered and Covid was the death blow for many. We stepped back and we re-tooled.
